Wish I was this kid

Late nights = deep thought

Last night as I was laying here wondering what to write I came to the conclusion that when you tired your mind will wonder, not in the wild blue mind you but just wonder and you will stare at the same thing for an hour and not move a muscle. Then once you do you dont have a clue where you wondered off too.

This is what happened to me last night. I was in the process of writing a post and walah I found myself transfixed on the screen, my legs not wanting to move, my fingers on the keyboard wanting to type but couldnt. After awhile I went into lala land contemplating what nots and do dads. Then I snapped out about an hour later, and hardley remember a thing. How strange is that.

Anyways I am about to go have breakfast with Laura, I dont have to go into work today until around noon or 1 o'clock. Work is pretty slow right now but hopefully it picks up soon.

Laura and I will be going to the first country concert of the season this coming wednesday. I got tickets for us last week. I think it will be a lot of fun. They always are, this time I get to do it with someone that I love. I think it will be just the two of us too. Yee haa for date.

Spring is here which is wonderful, I like the warmth that comes with it, day time its not extremlely hot, perfect for walks.

My garden is doing alright, Oh and yes I made a 3x5 garden with melons tomatoes and peppers and lettuce. Nothing producing quite yet but hopefully soon.

Think its time for Breakfast

Its never to late to try again

Well here it is a wonderful thursday night, and I have not posted in many moons. So here we go. A little about the title. I figured that since I am a pilot, and my office is the Wild Blue Yonder, I would be mostly updating people and telling you all about the adventures of the sky bound young Scott (as many of the old timers at the airport like to call me.)

It has been an interesting year thus far. I just finished my semester at UVSC, I am now considered a sophmore in the Aviation degree program. It feels really weird to be going to college but not actually setting foot on the campus. Many times I feel that I am missing out in the college experience, going to Institute, meeting people on campus, finding new friends. Instead I am hopping onto my trusty laptop where I log on and never see a single soul. I may see some pictures of some dead people who have died in the early years of aviation. Oh well ehh.

At the same time I feel happy not to have to go to college. I set my own time when I want to do my classwork, I can do it pretty much anywhere which helps in my line of work. I can do it in the AM or the PM. Many people are jelous. I myself am sometimes jelous of them.

Its a give take situation.

I have many goals for the summer. I want to walk everyday for atleast an hour (which will give me roughly 3 miles of walking per day). I recently purchased an I-Pod something that I told myself I would never do. You know what though, I love it. I use it all the time, I have music as well as video on it. Less filling, works great :). I also want to get into shape so that I can do some good hiking by the end of summer early fall. This may sound stupid and probrably is but a few years back Micah and a few other guys went out on a crazy 50 mile hike and did it in one day. I want to do that now. (see told you it was stupid, okay not stupid but insane, crazy, in the words of space balls Ludicrious speed)

This past weekend was great Laura and I went to the Bay Area and stayed with Mark and Gretchen for the weekend. We had a simply Marvelous time up there. On Friday afternoon we headed out of Fresno and up to Oakland where we were able to visit with Mark and Gretchen.

Laura had a Dance workshop that she went to for school while we were up there. Although it was all night friday and all day saturday I still saw her which was wonderful. We have been dating now for 8 months as today (thursday the eigth, yes I know its friday now but I still have not gone to bed so its still thursday) Amazing how time flys! We are having a wonderful time dating and enjoying being with one another. Infact she just moved down the street from me. How cool is this, I can walk to her new place in 3 minutes flat, although its not much of a walk its still that much more exercise I get. And even better than having that 3 minute walk, I get to see her that much faster :).

Now back to the weekend, Each day I took her to and from her dance workshop. It was in berkeley that I took her. Talk about an old town, on the way up everything was fine until we reached Berkley it self. Talk about an old town, everything was squished together. Just totally not my favorite place to be driving. Infact I got lost, and I did what every man swears he wont do and that is ask for directions (such an un-manly thing to do). I bit my lip and walked in with my head down scraping my feet on the floor and looking like egor from frankinstien, physc not really how it happened but I did ask for directions and we were almost right on target as far as where to go and I didnt even know it. But long story shorter i got her to her place where she met up with all her other dance friends and I went to the bathroom (got to remember that Scott + Lemonade= Scott has to pee very soon and often for the next few hours) I dont know what is with that stuff but it just goes straight through me. I peed in Los Banos where we stopped for lunch I stopped at the rest stop outside of tracy and then peed again when I dropped Laura off in berkley and then once more when I got to Marks house. Wowsers.

Anyways now getting out of Berkley was a story in itself. I could find plenty of onramps to go north but going south nope, not where I looked. n
